I was slicing this huge zucchini into big rounds to dehydrate it of all things. My husband walked up behind me and I said, “Look at these huge seeds. If I was a kid I would not want to eat this because I would be afraid a zucchini would grow in my stomach.”
“P!” he said, laughing heartily. “Zucchini is not going to grow in your stomach! The acid in your stomach would kill a zucchini seed,” he explained. “Oh, why didn’t I know you when you were a kid? I’d have been laughing my whole childhood.”
